Men generally don't show emotions like women do. It is generally not socially acceptable for a man to cry, maybe sometimes at funerals, but not necessarily unless he knows the person well. That doesn't make him a psychopath, cold, or unfeeling! As a matter of fact, I never trust a guy who cries all the time. The most caring and stable men I've ever met can count the number of times they've cried in their life on one hand.

It is bad simply to jump to conclusions about other people.
Some wil becuae others are wailing. some cry only in their hearts.
A school mate didn't shed a single tear when her young husband died. She had two kids age 5 and 7 years old at that time .
She became so strong, she single handedly raised her 2 kids.
So is she a Physcopath?

Psychopaths are characterised by a complete absence of guilt. They seem not to have a conscience. However, some sources state that they're natural charmers and good actors so a psychopath could probably put on a show of grief if he felt like it.
I don't think this kid's a psychopath.

erm..are callus and have no response to/ enjoys brutality..maybe this person didnt cry because he as different views on life after death etc. so i would hold that against him.
Does he get pleasure from quiet distrubing things?
i.e. sexual violence
Does he have strong views which could lead to being a psycho?
Or has he had a disturbed childhood?
Overall, you'll never know for sure and god knows how many psychopaths are out there and in what shape or form...(could be your mailman lol joking)
Also, if all this stuff is true it could be attention seeking?

antisocial personality disorder (APD), sociopath, or psychopath -- none of which are the same as insanity or psychosis.
APD (antisocial personality disorder) is the most common type.
Sociopaths are the second most common type, with an estimated 3% of all males in our society are sociopaths.
Psychopaths are rare, found in perhaps 1% of the population.
You need to understand that not everyone grieves the same way.

Is your diagnosis based on him not crying? That doesn't make him a psychopath. People grieve differently. I didn't cry when my grandma died. I didn't cry until her funeral. We process things differently. Maybe he wasn't close to this person. It takes a lot more than a lack of crying to be a psychopath. Don't be so quick to judge. Now if he is walking around talking about killing people, then you are justified in your thinking.

That's a pretty big leap, don't you think? Maybe he was too stunned to react. Maybe he's been told never to cry in public. Maybe he didn't really know the one who died very well. Maybe the thought of death is too tough to face and he's in denial about it. Unless he is torturing small animals for fun, lighting fires, and bedwetting, you are probably overreacting.

they don't feel emotion at bad things or even good things - it's called lack of empathy. If they see you crying, it won't compute that you're feeling bad and try to help you. They don't have a conscience. There are I think 12 signs of a psychopath listed in the DSM

not crying is a sign of a lot of things.. many of which are normal.. and there are far, far more likely things than him being a psychopath... that would be like number 1,000 on the list.
don't worry about it.

Everyone reacts to tragedy in a different way. Don't be quick to diagnose people with a psychiatric disorder.
