I need kitchen cabinets and I don't want to pay the mark up by going to Home Depot or Lowes! Any suggestions would be great!

A friend of mine purchased cabinets from this company:

He got great prices and was very happy with the cabinets and the service.
We build our own so I don't personally have any experience with any factories.
Good luck

If you want a name brand cabinet you might go to Kraftmaid's web site. I know you don't want to go through a dealer but I would suggest going through Home Depot. I remodeled my whole kitchen and purchased all my cabinets from Kraftmaid through them and got a pretty decent price. When you purchase them they will start a build date and ship them to your door. If you have any problems ie: wood defects, staining defects, broken backs etc. You just call Home Depot up and they take care of it period. It's a no hassle deal. I had a few problems with the cabinets and it was all taken care of, allowing me to move on with the remodel.

Great question. As a contracture might buy wholesale; it may not be from the MFG? It might be a good place for you to investifgate.

Recently on TV; I've been seeing ads for a company called Direct Buy. I have no clue where they are; but they claim to have showrooms and online sites; and claim to save people money. I assume they are similar to an outlet; or buy in bulk; or have contracts to buy direct in volume; for a lower markup; which then hopefully they pass on.

ADD ON: I did find many links to them. Below is one.

e United Builders Supply has warhouses in just about every state for wholesale prices, another one is wholesale lumber yards but, you have to be careful. What you get is what you see. Usually these are products that come out of homes that are not wanted and changed out, then sold over the counter.

Some of these are called contractors specials.
