What do you think we should wear.? We have dressed up, wore Christmas sweaters, sweatshirts etc. And now we are at a loss as what to wear that wouldn't be the same as we have done in the past. Best idea gets the 10 points! Thanks!

We try to stay away from the 'holiday' sweaters with the Christmas prints on them. We stick with classic looks and colors that way the pictures don't look cheesy or dated in a couple of months. Pick different colors from year to year or go all out dressy one year and a little more casual the next.

When I had some Christmas photos done in the past with my family, my dad and I would wear the same colored sweater (not the same style or anything) and my mother and brother would wear the same color. One year the men wore the same color, and the ladies wore the same color. It was cute.

Wear what you guys like for christmas. Make sure that you don't necessarily match. But at least complement each other.
If the photographer is good, he can create very creative shots using a good back drop for (high/mid/ or low key lighting). Props for themes. Different perspectives.

Gosh! YOU ARE SO DAMN PRETTY!! Before my brown eyes!! Must be nice to be happily married huh??? I wish I could be happily married, with a woman who can understand my differences in life! Oopps! Sorry! My best idea for the 10 points! DON'T FORGET TO PUT THE FAMILY DOG IN THE FAMILY PORTRAIT!!! LOL HAHAHA PUT THE FAMILY DOG IN BETWEEN OR JUST BELOW YA'LL GUYS. Moments like this are unforgetable!!! Especially, when they see the family house pet in the family portrait...lol hahahahaha Don't forget to dress up the cat or dog or whatever pet you have Xmas style!!!

I too would try too keep it less Christmas themed. How about dressy blue jeans and white button up shirts? Everyone looks great in white, and you guys would look classy all year 'round. Maybe even have some done in black and white film, for an even softer, cozier look. Merry Christmas!

Just get each one of you to pick out their favorite outfit and be natural. I like the barefoot idea or do beach scene with shorts, tank tops and flip-flops. Go cowboy- get cowboy hats and boots and jeans with not the same color but matching shirts. OR you could pick something that you all like to do and go with that like camping or fishing or hiking or what ever you like. Have fun!

Wear jeans and white shirts, and have Christmas backgrounds, and go barefoot. Black and white photo even better. It'll be relaxed, and natural, and cute.

I think a nice velvet dress for you, your daughter, a nice collared shirt for your son, sweaters and sports jacket for your husband.

when me and my family went last year we wear the girls wear red or green or black dresses and the boys wear the pants and a nice white dress shirt and a tie
