Personally I like Gonzalo, but depends where you are raising him. In the US, kids will call him Gonzo like the muppet, you always have to take kids into consideration. Trust me I got teased a lot for my name. Then again Gonzo could be a cool nickname too!
Roberto is too common-- it's just used too much.
Fernando can be a nice name, but it could also be a sleezebag name, like it reminds me of someone machismo.
Rodrigo is ok, I'm not a big fan.
Personally I love Antonio, Arturo, Carlos, Lorenzo, Nathaniel, and Cristian.
But in your list I'd still go with Gonzalo, very nice name, and masculine, but not machismo in a bad way*

If you plan on "Americanizing" I would go with Roberto, so he can go by Robert.
My sis-in-law has a nephew named Rodrigo and he is really nice, so I'm biased towards that name.
I've never heard of Gonzalo
Fernando the Bull? may not want that one...
