Yes, and I hated it! It is still available too. And those who live in the middle of nowhere (in the country) can only get dial-up service, so those kids aren't so lucky when it comes to the Internet service they can get.

I remember the days. I used to leave the modem connected overnight to even do system updates and downloading software.
I also hope you realize there are millions and millions of people still using dial-up. Too bad for them!
