I used to either take a nap or do all my cleaning while my baby was asleep. That's when I would do the laundry, clean up toys, whatever was needed, etc. When he wakes up, depending on his age, go for a walk, or just play with toys and make funny faces.

Anything you do with your baby is priceless for him, so long as you're doing it with love (blegh, that sounded like a Hallmark card). As for the time you have to yourself, there's lots of things you could do. Sleep alongside your baby, watch TV, read a book, listen to music, perhaps something more private if you're so inclined. It really depends on what you'd prefer to do with that time, keeping in mind the fact that 45 minutes won't afford you much time to do anything substantial.

Of course, there's always plenty of fun to be had here. ^__^

Well one thing you can do is do something that you can't get to with your baby around. I mean something like... fixing things, cleaning, sleeping, you could call someone, or you can get people to come over when your baby is going to wake up, 10,15 min. before your baby wakes up.

My baby and I have so much fun just making faces and she loves for me to tickle her. You don't need to have major events, for a baby everything is new and "major". While my baby sleeps I too spend all my time on the computer. I don't know about that one.

Learn quickly like I did. When your baby sleeps you should sleep too! Your body will embrace the extra rest. Take care of yourself.

Get a sling or carrier!

You can dance with your baby (imeem.com and YouTube have plenty of things babies can boogie to) while he's awake, and then rest and futz around on Yahoo! Answers while he's sleeping on you.
