I need more info on natwest bank and their function in conjunction with emails I receive.

Maybe, yes. In fact, probably it is. Real banks usually do this sort of stuff through real mail, not email. NatWest is a very big bank. Why not contact them directly? Just go down to your local branch.

It could be - and likely is - a scam. Do they ask for your bank account details? If so, why? If they're your bank they already know them.

If not, once you give whoever it is your details they can use them to print checks on your account and drain it.
