There's a city about an hour away from me that is ridden with gun violence. Police officers have recently become major targets. It's a real shame because the police are just doing their job to quell the violence and they always seem to fall victim regardless. The most tragic loss was of a policeman with more than 25 years on the force. He was shot while trying to stop a robbery in progress. He died the next day. The city is not just safe anymore.

People need to control themselves not the guns. That is stupid. A gun laying harmlessly on the dresser isn't going to kill someone. A gun in the hand of a maniac will.
I hunt, and target practice regularly and have since I was very young. I can shoot any gun with fine precision. I don't think the blame belongs to the weapon. It's the crazies who own them.
I own many shotguns, riffles, and handguns myself.

It depends on what you mean when you say "gun control", to some it's just a euphemism for "gun banning" Which I am against. If however you mean the enforement of existing laws and makeing sure a person that has a concealed carry permit knows how to use the weapon, then I'm all for it

I'm for control of, or at least more strict laws on guns, as well as weapons in general. Without going into details or the whole debate on criminals, I'll just say I think it'd be helpful in stopping crimes.

I think you should look at the other developed countries who have it and as a result don't have anywhere near to 10,000 annual, gun-related deaths like the U.S. does, that should clue you in
