Is this totally weird or are other people doing the same thing as what she just did. She said that #7 came because
"The Lord Willed It". I just think its weird to have a grandchild that is older than your own child. The girl is a sweety who had this baby. Am I right about that situation being crazyness or are there others.
Btw I have no intent on ever having another I am happy with 3 and my tubes are tied.

Since birth control doesnt work 100% of the time there are some surprises in life. My oldest and youngest children are 21 years apart (there are two in between) but of course I didnt have any grandchildren yet since my oldest was still in college when the youngest was born. Seems like I'm destined to be paying tuition forever.

Just because woman can now have babies up until they are 50 or 60, doesn't make it a great idea. I am 33 years old, and I have to say that I don't want babies right now. I am just not ready, and am not sure that if I was ready in 5 years it would be a good idea. I don't think it's cool for a senior citizen to be dropping their kid off a college. That doesn't make it wrong for everyone, but for me, heck no!

Well that is alot of children, but it isn't our buisness to say weither or not shes wrong to have them. It's her case not ours. And I'm not being rude. But I know a very nice family thats the same. And they are lovley people. Maybe the lord did will it.. *for her not you*.
Just be happy with your three and dont worry about them.

it is weird having kids into ur 40's & 50's. to me its a health risk. i mean think about it. do u think that person will have the patience to go through their 60's dealing w/ a teen as a fulltime parent nt a grandparent? it can lead to all sorts of health problems. its nt worth it. don't tell me u can have as many children as u wish bs. that's crap.u have to think hard about this. at 50 when i have a child will i be able to care & patience & nuture the child as he grows up to be an adult when i get to be 70?? kids aren't like dolls u can't just push them to the side when ur tired of them.

i honestly dont see the problem with it, i mean, great to her for having another one if she wanted. when my daughter is 18 i will be only 32 and i could still have more kids (i had her when i was 14) so i could very well have grandchildren at the same time im pregnant. u never know.

I think it is time to put a cork in it. Women who have babies that old end up with young children whose moms do not physically feel like taking care of them. The older ones end up taking care of the younger ones. I have been reading about more women have 4 to 7 children because some have divorced and re-married and started another family with their current husband.

this happened in my family there is 30+ years between me and my sister 20+ years between me and my 2 brothers... my sisters youngest was 3yo when i was born something like that... so i was born an Aunt. i am now a great-aunt to 4 little ones... I'm 24 they are 9yo 6yo 4yo and 1yo respectively. so we are living proof it does happen as weird as i know it is!!!

Cheers

I don't think it's weird. I know lots of families that have uncles younger than their nieces and nephews. Nothing wrong with that.

My friend has an uncle who is younger than her because her dad got remarried and his wife wanted children too.

yeah, but she might be a "grandmother" who is 30. A girl who started having babies at 14 or 15...now her 14 year old is the same way..and also having kids......
