On Yahoo's front page this morning they had all the heated discussions from the CNN/Youtube GOP Debate. When they got to the part where McCain tells Ron Paul that the troops sent him a message "Let us Win" then they cut the part where Ron Paul tells McCain that more active military service personel have donated to the Ron Paul campaign than any other candidate and that McCain is full of it.

Why do they cut out the important stuff like that?

What are they afraid of?

Don't know what you're talking about. I saw Paul respond and use that same line on Yahoo, CNN, WSJ, and FoxNews.

Paul fails to disclose just how much of his campaign contributions are from servicemen, so their is no way of checking that anyway. But I suspect most military are probably holding back on their political contributions anyway. Their income is too low, at this point, too many candidates to choose from, and too many things to do at this point. If any contribute, they will probably do so after the nominations have been announced.

To my knowledge, nobody cut anything Ron Paul said last night. If his campaign is telling you that (and they say a lot of things their followers seem to take as sworn testimony like Jim Jones' koolaid), I refer you to CNN.com, online.wsj.com, foxnews.com and many other sites besides. Just not true.

They're afraid of lesser known candidates like Paul actually becoming popular because they have less money to spend on their campaigns and therefore less ad revenue for the media to take in. There is a reason mainstream media keeps focusing on certain candidates, it's because those candidiates have the most money to spend on ads so the media stands to make A LOT more money off of these candidates!

We should all be ticked off about this because it isn't even a partisan issue, it's about having fair elections, something I hope we could all agree on.

I honestly don't know what they're afraid of. Dr. Paul has absolutely no chance of winning this election, though it is nice that he brings attention to the fact that change is needed in America, and that there is to much money spent on bureaucratic
organizations in the government. I guess also, they may not want to tarnish McCain's well deserved war hero image.

Maybe because that statement is still in dispute and not really backed by a lot of evidence.
