What dress fits me?

I'm planning on going to my first formal school dance on december.7, but I'm not sure what dress I should buy. I'm 16 years old, and 5", I have fairly thin legs, but rather overwhelming thighs. I don't really have a tummy, but my chest isn't as flattering as well. ANd to top if off, I think that my shoulders and chest are too far apart.

I really like the babydoll dresses, or atleast somekind of above the knee dresses (though they're very difficult to comeby in my size and in such short notice). Any suggestions?

Do what we all have done for years, take your mother, go to Sears or JC Penney, and try on every formal in the store.

When your mom starts crying, and says "Oh, that's so beautiful...."
