If you drop a goldfish or two in your tank, the snails will be gone by tomorrow, or Clown Loaches.
But, goldfish are cheap, so I'd do it that way.
they will devour them!

I'd advise against using a chemical defense, because you will end up with a tank full of dead snails that will decompose and send your nitrate levels skyrocketing.
Go with the lettuce idea. You can put a piece in a small jar and let it sink to the bottom on it's side. Then harvest your catch every day until you don't catch anymore.
Releasing these snails in a garden or down your toilet is a bad idea. You can be adding animals that are damaging to your local ecosystem.

you can put some lettuce in the tank, and with in a few min it should be swarmed with the little buggers and you can remove them. Or there is a product called had a snail you should be able to pick up at your lfs. Loaches are also another option, since they will gladly eat the snails just make sure they're compatible with your other fish.

I'd stay away from the chemical products. Also stay away from buying a "snail eating fish" like loaches, they'll grow to large for your tank-I'm guessing it's a smaller tank. Try floating a piece of lettuce in there. Snails love lettuce and they'll congregate on it, then remove the lettuce and dispose of it. Keep repeating that till there's no more snails, but keep an eye out in case they've laid eggs because there'll be another crop of them showing up. When I kept a small container of snails for my puffer fish to eat, I kept a piece of lettuce in there with them to eat, they love it.

Either start a snail farm or throw them in a compost or garden. They are suppose to be good for enriching soil. I know there is a puppose for them like to help keep your tank clean so maybe someone with a bigger tank or a big pond will take them off of your hands. Be sure to keep the lid on though because they will crawl out and then you will have them all over the place. Good luck...

Depends on the kind of snails.
If they're pond snails, a crayfish will eat them. The downside is that the crayfish will eat everything else too.
If they're Malaysian trumpet snails, you will have to remove them by hand.

Hello, easiest suggestion would be to add some Clown Loaches, just watch your nitrate levels after the addition.

awwww, don't kill them like the other people suggest... snails are so adorable! You're lucky. You've got too many snails that you don't want, and I want snails but they keep dying!
