A foolish question was asked earlier by Mark623112:
Do you think the term "Racist" is over-used?

Actually racism is overly used by people who are not even aware they are racist. You don't have to say slurs just to be racist. This is the new manifestation of racism, in the same vein as Bill O'Really. He claims not to be one but holds bigotted views of colored people and SAYS THEM IN PUBLIC.
Sorry Mark, you just don't get it and just want to justify your views, which I am sory to tell you are racist. A lot of these questions spring from racist, imperialist, orientalist ideas that sadly many conservatives have.

When I think of something that is "over used", I think of the majority of people committing it. The way I see it, the majority of people are NOT racist, therefore it is not overused.
HOWEVER, for the people who are racist, it's a very sad and ignorant thing when appearance matters that much.

I was thinking about this after I answered, and I decided your question doesn't make much sense at all. EVERYTHING bad is overused. Racism is an action/feeling. That's like saying compassion is overused, or anger. You can't control human beings, you can only judge them, which is also wrong.

You have greatly expanded the meaning of "racism" to fit your apparently personal agenda.

Racism is nothing more than using race in a discriminating manner when decision making. I could make slurs all day long and as long as I still treat them equal, no racism has occurred.

Not to say that it wouldn't be offensive to them, but it would not constitute racism.
