Why does so much of Ron Paul’s Campaign financing for his Congressional Seat come from out of state? (71% Out-of-State vs. 29% TX)

Why does Ron Paul SUPPORT TERM LIMITS but NOT ABIDE by them as he once did?
Ron Paul was first elected to Congress in 1978. Paul went on to be re-elected in 1980 and 1982. He was the first congressman to propose term limit legislation for the House of Representatives. In 1984, citing his term limits proposal, he did not seek reelection to the House, although he unsuccessfully contested the Republican primary for Senate. In 1985 he returned to medical practice as an OBGYN.
In 1988, Dr. Paul won the nomination of the Libertarian Party for the U.S. Presidency. He placed third in the popular vote (with 0.3% of the total), behind George H. W. Bush and Michael Dukakis.
In 1996, Paul was again elected to the House as a Republican. Mainstream Republican Party figures backed the incumbent, Greg Laughlin, a Democratic representative who had switched parties in the wake of the Republican takeover of Congress. Laughlin attempted to portray Paul's views as extreme and eccentric, but Paul won the primary and went on to win the general election.
Leaders of the Texan Republican Party made similar efforts to defeat him in 1998, but Paul again won the primary and the election. The Republican congressional leadership then agreed to a compromise: Paul votes with the Republicans on procedural matters and remains nominally Republican in exchange for the committee assignments normally due according to his seniority. This is arguably similar to the deal that Senator Jim Jeffords of Vermont has with the Democratic Party (though Jeffords was elected as a Republican and is now officially independent). Paul was convincingly re-elected in 2000 and 2002. He was elected unopposed in 2004 to his ninth term in the Congress.

I actually saw it the other way. McCain looked like a pandering politician with his whole Hitler and "I spent thanksgiving with the troops" bit.
It also shows the ignorance on McCain's part, accusing Paul of being an isolationist when he is actually a noninterventionist. 2 different things, buddy.
I am sorry, but just because McCain was a POW does not mean he is qualified nor competent to lead the world's most powerful miltary into action. After all, if I am not mistaken, McCain was never a high ranking military officer, only a small military grunt, so what makes you think he will be a good commander in chief? That's like saying that each and everyone soldier in the army could be president simply cuz they have experienced war. Not so. Competence, intelligence, political tact, diplomacy, charisma, leadership, and a good knowledge of international relations is much more important than actual war experience.

McCain went out of his way to attack Ron Paul on a question that was about the Fair Tax, not a question about Iraq. He looked like he prepared the comparison of Paul's "isolationism" with Hitler well before the debate, but I am surprised that someone in his campaign wouldn't do any fact-checking. Firstly Ron Paul is not an isolationist, he wants to interact with many countries through trade and commerce, he is a non-interventionist because he believes that the United States does not have the power to go nation-building around the world. Secondly, McCain came off as a Nationalist by saying that he spent Thanksgiving in Iraq several times and the troops are saying "Let us win". Ron Paul is a Patriot because he doesn't blindly follow the gov't. Finally Adolf Hitler came to power because of the after-effects of WWI. Germany was plagued by hyperinflation, loss of land and industry to multiple countries, and "war-guilt". If the Entente Powers weren't so hard on Germany, the setting for the Nazi Party to come to power probably wouldn't have existed. The United States was probably the country that wanted the least repercussions for Germany, so I would think that France and England are more to blame.
I glad that McCain attacked Paul because Ron Paul didn't get much time in comparison to Romney, Guiliani, Huckabee and McCain. CNN was very biased towards Paul, Tancredo and Hunter.
Ron Paul gets support from the military because of his policy. I believe that McCain gets a lot of support because he was a POW. For me I judge a candidate on his issues rather than his unfortunate chance of being a Prisoner of War.(I am not demeaning McCain by this at all. There is no question that he went through was horrible and he should be praised for his strength, I just don't think that is a case for Presidency).
