It's all about Darfur.
The ethnically Arab Muslims that run the Government in Sudan are deliberately allowing Islamist militias to slaughter the ethnically African minority farmers of Darfur in Western Sudan. They give support and funding to the Muslim gunmen that have killed as many as 1/2 a million people, and more and more the civilized nations of the world have been begging them to stop. Britain has been among the most vociferous of the countries calling for UN peacekeepers to be allowed into Darfur, which has been really annoying the Muslim leaders of Sudan.
The arrest of the British teacher isn't "really" about the naming of the teddy bear - it's a message from the Sudanese Govt to the British govt that they don't like to have their genocide criticized.

No, but if I said what I really think I might lose some points. Earlier today, being fed up with all the anti-American questions, I answered one with a single word, not obscene, and lost points.

Has anyone else been reminded of the scene in Life Of Brian where the gentleman is stoned for saying "Jehovah"?
