If you want to listen to an unknown artist... but she is recording her music now in california.... go to myspace.com and search: Cristal Q
She was in Chris Brown's music video. The video was called "Kiss Kiss". She was the girl he liked and was trying to get her attention.
I know her personally because she's my couson .Cristal is extremley nice and talented. Well, when her album hits stores (she's almost done with it and Chris Brown is gonna do a song with her) u will already know most of the songs.
P.S- First listen to the song on her myspace called "Let me go".

Shoshana Bean! Don't know if she has an album yet, though... But she sings "Home" and it's amazing!
And Idina Menzel. Her single, Minuet, is soo good. Try her 1998 album, Still I Can't Be Still.
Oh, and Emmy Rossum, Inside Out. I love her!

My band. We play rock/hard rock/metal/alternative. Kind of like a mixture between Avenged Sevenfold, AC/DC, Aerosmith, and Van Halen. Maybe we'd be noticed if we were'nt 12-14.

try some of that spanish music. even if you don't understand spanish it is good especially the videos like "limon y sal" or the one by palina rubio called "ni un solo palabra". if you don't haplar espanol you should. even here in the twin cities it is important. st. paul even has a mexican consolate. if you have htv on hbo try it, you'll like it. some of the songs in english were originally recorded in spanish by the same artists. ricky martin, and many women.

If you want to listen to something that no one listens to, then listen to trance, classical, game music soundtracks/arrangements and new age.
Also, J-pop might work if you dont mind japanese:)
