Well, first I would say congratulations to you. Most of us have a shy 3 inches, but are still developing. Well, yes, as I recall from my own locker room days in junior high school, yes it is normal. Some people are created different and just need time to catch up.
Just be careful not to damage it. Where a jock strap (athletic supporter) if your coach and your father recommends it. Be careful not to damage your gland ("head") because in the two cavities is where the blood fills up to make you erect there. If this is damaged, by a horrible accident or someone pinching you hard or grabbing you hard or you have a terrible fall, it would be very, very, painful and the damage would be permanent.

that is about the size you will be for the rest of you life. you penis will not go much bigger. when we guys reach that age like 14 i might get an inch bigger
