I find some of them to be comforting-serene is a good word. I know that they bore some, and are not considered by all to be "good" art.

I know that they are not the sort of thing a lot of people consider cool or artistic, but I like them. I think "Lamplight Brooke" might be my favorite because I would like to live in one of those cottages.

Kinkade isn't an artist, he's a corporation...apparently he's found a niche where marshmallow sentiment and the terminally cute can be sold in every variety to the public... there are Kinkade collectibles, toys, ornaments, greeting cards, household items...and the 'paintings' are production-line products, authenticated only by a few strokes from the master. Kinkade is living proof that you can make a gazillion dollars by selling to the same folks who think Velveeta is cheese and sweet pickle relish is a food group.

Hello, Dali....want fries with that?

I love Thomas Kinkade, My favorite is The cabin by the Lake. I love the serenity of the lake, with the canoe resting, and knowing the fire was giving a soft glow, and warmed you to your very soul.

I have a Kinkade print waiting to be framed right now... its called "Perseverance". It's a lovely painting of the sea and a ship at night....

Most of his paintings have a tendency to look alike, however, this one does not have the same appearance as the others.

It is simply beautiful! I wish I had a site where you could see it but I'm not one for surfing the Internet... I am learning tho!

IN ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION;
Perseverance is my favorite!

I fine his paintings to be totally awesome. I am not a collector by any means but given the chance I would like to buy a nice print of one of his paintings. And I don't find them boring in the least. There is a certain attraction to them.

I dont have a favorite but I love his paintings. I love the way the lights seem to shine brighter when you dim the lights in the room. They are all so serene.

I love anything that Kinkade does, his play on light is captivating. He has an art gallery here in Charleston, that just fascinates me totally.

They are all so beautiful. I don't own any but I like the Christmas paintings with houses in the background. I feel as though I can fit into the little door & go on in.

He was the bomb in the beginning. He truly was the first "Painter of Light. Now others have surpassed with different themes.
These Rod Chase paintings are unbelievably real, almost like a photograph.
