Easy Cast Question.?

Question

I got my cast on about 3 weeks ago and I go tomorrow to get it x-rayed and make sure it is healing properly. This cast is on my wrist. I was just wondering if they will take off and change the cast when they x-ray it, or if i will keep the same one until the 6 weeks is up.

the cast is starting to smell, so yeah.

They usually keep the cast on, but depending on the type of break and how well you are healing, people sometimes get switched to air casts to reduce the amount of muscle atrophy.
