For now, no .. but, as medical technology advances, and a human's life span increases significantly .. it might be a good idea, as there will be more humans being born, than those who are dying. My grandmother lived to 106 years old, and it not that far away where the average human will live to the age of 150 years old. Your proposal isn't unrealistic, but rather a possible solution to over-population, but, it's not that bad ... YET. :)

Apparently you've never been to Eastern Oregon, Wyoming, Idaho, North Dakota, or Montana. There is plenty of space left, people just need to be less picky. Plus, wouldn't that kind of be a sure fire way to self destruct.

Study the current downfall of Europe.
Some countries are paying bonuses to have more kids.
Over-population is a myth.

I agree with one of the other guys, I think we should stop the stupid ones from breeding first. That would also probably stop the multiple offenders at the same time.

might be better to have people fixed at birth... then they would have to apply for a breading license to be unfixed for awhile.. so they could try and have kids

is not really such a problem in developed countries anyways

Only if you could relocate some people from the over crowded places to the less crowded places. It won't work if it isn't evenly distributed.

I don't think so. I think the rising cost of living is enough to stop anyone from having a lot of children.

no we are doing a project in school and your either for it or against it I am against it becuz its just wrong
people should be able to have as many child as they want if they can take care of it
