I know I need to learn calculus in order to get a good career like engineering. I know it incorporates algebra ,trignometry and so on and so forth.

No, it's not hard. The first level of calculus will probably be the easiest math class you ever take. Pre-calculus was a bit of a challenge for me becasue it was like a more advanced high school class. But calculus is totally differnt from all high school math class, its like a diffent way to see things...if you like math youll probably like calculus. after a couple years of taking calculus it will be like second nature.

I think calculus is hard. It is a college level math structure, so I am predicting it will be very difficult to learn.

Believe me, if your Algebra is really good, meaning really really good, you won't have any problems with the basics.

I guess it depends on what you put into it. If you practice, and have a good teacher it should be fine.
