On the old Mustangs it was fairly simple as the six cylinder cars were four lug and the V8's were five lug. Therefore all you had to do was purchase a rear end and front spindles from a salvage yard. However most of the new cars are not that easy and the expense plus the other problems you have to deal with aren't worth it.

either change stub axles and axle hats or get the ones you currently have redrilled. then there is the problem of finding wheels that fit the centre of the hub

wheel adaptors are available, but it will effect your offset..

depending on the car, you might be able to buy new hubs/axles, etc..but most modern cars this is seriously not worth the effort..

You need to put new axles on the car to do it the right way. Otherwise you will always ahve problems.

change the axles, but it will cost more than it is worth.
