Premature babies are viable from about 23 weeks and they are aborting them after week 32.

My baby girl was delivered at 30 weeks and weighed 3.6lb. She spent 5 weeks in special care and needed help. However, she was fully formed, had hair, nails, a sex, could move, cry and breath. She is now 8 months old & while she has some catching up to do in size, she is like every other bouncing 8 month old.
In my opinion it is murder NOT abortion. People have abortions for many different reasons, and I do not condem them, but people who abort with choice at this gestation should serve a life sentance.

I think 32 weeks is far too late to abort,surely if you want an abortion you would know before then.
There was a girl in the paper 2 weeks ago with triplets,born at 22 weeks ,they all lived and all are healthy,if 3 sharing a womb can survive at 22 weeks, a single baby must have an excellent chance if its born then.

I am pro choice but to abort a pregnancy at 32 weeks gestation. I can’t agree with that unless the baby has serve disabilities which would give the baby no quality of life once born.

Absolutely disgusting!!!
I'm in no way against abortion but this is ridiculous!
My son was born at 29 weeks old, the only problem he suffered was some breathing difficulties, he was in intensive care for 2 weeks then home
Babies defy odds and are little fighters, this is just awful

I feel it is murder even before 32 weeks. I mean, does the baby get its soul when it is 31 weeks? I don't get it! A baby has a heartbeat before then like normal functioning humans! And speaking of disabled babies...why not get rid of all the old people who can't contribute to society anymore?
Sry...I just hate abortion.

I think the time limits in this country should be changed given the advances in medcine. A friend of mine had her baby at 23 weeks - he lived for 11 weeks before dying of complications - survival at this gestation is still rare though possible.
Leaving it that long is awful. I don't know wy anyone would want to have that done let alone perform the opertaion?

This is disgusting and there is no excuse for it.
Most women find out they are pregnant quite quickly,within the first 3 months, either they want the baby or they don't, so why the delay, pure stupidity.
This is murder.

surely murder must come into this cos most proberly some of those babies must be breathing, so many people out there who cant have children and would love to give a baby a home ,its so sad
