i love my dad and he loves me..... i know he loves me. my boyfriend says that he dosnt but he dose. the thing is that when he gets mad he goes out of control. once he picked me up by the neck and threw me onto the table that was behind me and i had to hide under it for protection. another time he smacked me so hard that i thought i was gonna bleed. and a couple of days ago he lost his temper and picked up a chair and threw it onto the ground and broke it. and its only me that he gets mad at. its never my mom or my brother its only me. and now im too scared to go anywhere near him. so my questions are: 1.what should i do about this whole situation and 2. does he love me?

1. talk to him about it with your mother there!
2. ask him to get temper help he may not be for it but he needs to know at least how you feel!
3. if you don't feel safe then ask to go somewhere else stay with a friend or a family member

1. Call the cops, not one deserves to be hit, expecially by their parents that is call abuse.
2. Yes he loves you. A fathers love is unconditional.
3. He does not hate you, because the definition of hate means that you want to see that person dead and that you will do everything in your power to see them dead.
4. Do not listen to your boyfriend. And he was a true boyfriend he would have already called the cops.
5. Your mom and brother seems a little dumb too, because I would never ever EVER let my dad hit my step brothers and get away with it. And my step brothers are not my favorite people either, but I know right from wrong.
Do the right thing and turn him in.

1. Report him to the comps. It doesnt mean he'll get arrested, it just mean he will be warned and on file
2. To me it seems he has very bad anger managment issues, try to see if he will tke a class for it
3. Also it seems he might not love you Im really sorry to say that, however Im not their to see the good times you have so i wouldnt know.

2. does he love you? yes he just doesn't have a healthy vent for his anger.
1. what should you do? if your mom won't get him counseling you can either keep taking the abuse (because that is what it is) till you move out (I wouldn't recommend this), or you can file a police report (which I would recommend). No matter what.. make sure this is your decision and not your boyfriends, or someone from Y!A.. because you have to live with the consequences... not anyone else.

im really sorry he hit you,,unfortuanatly this situation is the same as the one my best friend goes through at home and i have witnessed,,my first thought is yes he does love you,,he maybe just doesnt know how to show it,or he doesnt know another way to vent out his anger,,also what you should do is TELL YOUR MOM,,and if she doesnt or cant do anything about it tell your guidence councler at school

Your father loves you, he just has no idea HOW to love. You should tell your mom you can't stand this anymore; if she doesnt protect her own child, you should go and seek professional help. He has absolutely no right to do this to you
