Start your computer up and press F8 (do this when the bios is loading) to go into safe mode when it loads up. Once you have reached the log in part select Administrator. Once at the desktop in safe mode, go to the control panel and once there select User Accounts. Then click on your username and remove the password you have placed. Restart the computer and this time don't go into safe mode but start up as you usually do. You should then not have to enter a password. If you want to create a password to your account just do so as usual.

If you really can't remeber it the best quickest way is to use a Linux boot disk to reset or recover it. I have done it probably 10 times annd worked every time. It was one of these but I can't remeber:
