bat. all gauges returned to normal drove home. Got in Expo thos morning, had on bat indicator, didn't notice if indicator was on when I installed bat. My ? is, is their an altanator on this 2003 expo. and could that be my problem or is the new bat. takeing time to charge to capacity.

Yes there's an alternator. You should have it checked.

There is an alternator on all cars and if your battery keeps going dead then it is, most likely, not working. If you installed a new battery and drove it shouldn't have gone dead, unless something is shorted somewhere.

it could be a wire it could be a bad sender it could be a blown fuse it could be bad sensors


the reason fotr your car dying could be that the alternator is bad or the return wires from the alternator to battery are bad

there is a wire loose behind the gauges find out how to get them out and reattach the wire
