Worker Ant; What have you done for society lately "pismire"? I'd venture to say, NOTHING.

Because people like you take time to complain about it, but not to make any change.

I help tutor kids and work on their homework with them....and I don't complain about America.

I'd have to agree with Worker Ant. People don't care because our society is ignorant. Then, part of the section that do care just complain and don't do anything about it.

All our money is going overseas to help the less fortunate over there. I think our government needs to help the less fortunate here, and I don't mean the people who take advantage of the system with their public aid and their 8 kids. I mean the people who are really trying to make it, but just don't make enough money with their current jobs to have a decent house in a decent neighborhood, or to be able to afford daycare, or to afford to put healthy food on their tables.

There is way too much complaining and not enough DOING. Almost everyone who complains about it wants someone else to fix it.
