She's currently in a really big one, but she's not that active, and her tank takes up so much space, so i was thinking about downsizing. Is it big enough for her, and also, would she get depressed if i switched her into a smaller tank??

a 40 gallon breeder is a perfect size, it has alot of floor space and room to exersize, go with it! But always remember, the bigger the better, when it comes to animal enclosures. Get the largest tank you can afford.

Beardies are very lazy lizards and dont move around much, he will be just fine and dandy!

Even the largest tank is tiny in comparison to living loose in the wild! I guarantee, no matter how lazy those dragons are, they do not stay in a 4 foot area their whole lives--they roam large territories. They need as much space as possible not just for moving about and exercising in, but for good mental health. Smaller spaces will cause more stress. I'd leave her in the larger tank. My guy is in a 75 gallon and I often think it is too small.
