I blocked 2 people today because they added me without permission! Both of them didn't even answer any of my questions! Wouldn't YOU be suspicious?

yes, i would be suspicious. i dont think people take the time to pay attention to details and just do whatever they want to do. it is just like a while back when i was volunteering with kids who have special needs. they have food and allergies to certain things. the nurse there was going to change them using latex gloves when they were allergic to latex. i told the nurse not to do that they were allergic. she was like how did you know that when she looked on their chart. i was like well i take the time to check things out and make sure they are well taken care of when i am around. that is what they chart is for. to make sure you know what to do and not to do. that is part of what is wrong with people these days. they just assume that everything is going to be ok no matter what. let me tell you that it could not be further from the truth. many of the kids i had in my groups could have had anaphylaxis (which is where the throat closes up and they cant breathe) due to food allergies and things of that nature. you cannot skip details especially when it comes to things like that. good luck.

Yes I would I have supposedly been added by a couple of people I don't even know. I just don't send anything to them maybe they will go away. People don't understand the whole asking concept because our society has turned into if I want to I should be able to.

I always check the profile of anyone who adds me as a contact, for just that reason. And I do block anyone who looks iffy. Better safe than sorry. I don't require people to ask, though.
And I don't ask myself. I've always found that forgiveness is easier to obtain than permission. I do, however, send people a message titled, "Why I added you as a contact."

I can't agree more! I ask for people to ask me too! Especially if I have never seen them before! I get suspicious! Right now I let them add me but I don't add everyone back unless I decide to! I will keep letting them until things start going on! Then I will start the blocking too!! I understand what your saying!! =)

Nope. Most people do not have the requirement of asking for permission first. You can expect to get a lot more that will add you just to tick you off.

They found you so irresistable that they added you at the Q/A you were giving without checking your profile first. But yes, it's weird if someone just adds you and you have zero idea who they are.

yeah, i know a lot of people ask to be emailed before they add you. i don't necessarily care. i don't require it. when someone adds me, i always check out their profile to make sure nothing looks suspicious. if it does, i will block them.
