In a bathrobe. Maybe even laying down. Heck, maybe even in a bathrobe laying down and visibly distracted by Law and Order reruns that are showing on a TV that is off-camera.
Ain't it funny that the darling of conservatives is the laziest candidate ever?

Who started this whole lazy candidate thing! Running for president is the hardest and most exhausting thing anyone could ever do. If someone is out their, debating, speechifying, being interviewed, and so forth they are not lazy. Lets not just except what the media in their desire to use labels and sound bites gives us.

I think Fred Thompson would very much like to appear in a debate from his couch. It would certainly be more comfortable than standing at a podium fidgeting when you get asked a tough question. At home, he could just turn and reach for a cold beer on the end table, take a swig, and tell it like it is.

But then again, we're talking about the presidential candidate who waited about 6 months too late to enter the race ...

Yes, that would work. Yeah it's very funny to see that the candidate the Conservatives welcomed as their savior turns out to be too lazy to even debate and campaign properly.
America doesn't want conservative failure in the white house

Of course! He has more important things to do that appear in biased, unimportant debates.

And he's not lazy. He's knows what's important, and what's not.

Appearing on Talk Radio shows that people actually listen to: Important.

Appearing in Youtube idiot debates: Relatively unimportant.

:)

Unfortunately, his advisors won't let him.

He's perfectly suited for the gig of Vice President...

Does it really matter? Shouldn't it come down to positions on issues and decision making rather than who runs around the most?

Or is this (unfounded as it is) going to be the main thrust of the attack for the lefties if and when Fred gets nominated?

I imagine that would greatly appeal to him. I do think it's amusing as well. Lazy is not something we need in the Oval Office. Funny question ;-).

He's lazy! Hillary rides Bill's coat tails. Without him, she's nothing. When her ratings dip,she drags him out.
