Appearently so... This crazy little Picachu look alike showed up at the front door with a shotgun aimed at my head. I quickly grabbed the gun and the little yellow rat ran off. I think he said his name was Dictator Puppet... How weird is that. He claimed he was your fiancee... hehehe...

I would say that the reason behind shotgun weddings very much still happens. Hopefully now they happen without the actual shotgun!
Times change, I guess!

I'm sure they do. Wherever there are "conservatives" who are more worried about what "people" will say than they are about the happiness or preparedness for marriage of the couple involved (let alone th child!), there will be forced marriages.
My parents fought all through my childhood. I am sure that if I'd had a single mom, things might have been tougher financially (or maybe not, my dad was a waster) but we'd have had more peace of mind.

Not so much. Now days they just have the baby (she lives with her parents to use her Dad's insurance) then after she loses the baby weight she gets a gorgeous white gown and they have a big, blow out wedding and invite half the county and the baby comes all dolled up in a fancy dress or a mini tux. For real.

There's still a lot of that going on in middle America. It's unfortunate when the couple made a mistake and really doesn't love each other. It really compounds the first mistake.
Why do you ask?

of course...but usually the when the girl's in her early pregnancy so that the bump doesnt look obvious...coz most parents would want the pregnant daughter to get married to the responsible father before the child's born...

I would guess so in some parts of the world. Some things will never go out of style.
