Hands down Best Buy. I think that they have a better selection and better prices. But...I have found items at CC before that I couldn't find at BB, so I don't want to discount them totally.

Best Buy
I hate Circuit City, I came within inches of punching out a manager in Circuit City.

I don't know why but I like Best Buy better. They seem to be better stocked and the nearest Circuit City just looks kind of run down.

Best Buy. The last several times I went to Circuit City I couldn't find anything that I needed and the sales staff was completely indifferent.

That depends. If you're looking for a good selection and low prices, go to Best Buy (or Fry's). But if you need technical help, good service, and need answers by someone who actually knows the product, go to Circuit City. Whatever you do, just stay away from Sears. The electronics and service there are nothing but problems.

Best Buy. Everytime I go in circuit city I feel like I am in a run down store that is run like a crack house.

Without a doubt, Circuit City. They have people who want to help you and the prices are much better than that other store.

Best Buy! Idiots at Circuit City sold me an air conditioner (in the box, unopened) that looked like they'd played football with it and wouldn't function, and then fought me about taking it back - and held onto my money for 6 weeks before crediting it back to my credit card so I'd take a hit on the interest on the charge. Plus wanting to charge me a "restocking fee." Got out of that when I told them I worked for law office, but that's not going to happen for most of you.

As for those "cheaper" cathode tube TVs, has anyone bothered to tell you you won't be able to use them without a converter box after February of next year? I'd say they were trying to rope in as many suckers as possible so they're not stuck with inventory that will never be sold.

Circuit City because the deals are good. They still have 32 inch T.V. with the old style tube for around $340.00

The new plasma LCd's run $499.00 on up for a 32".
The surround sound systems run as low to $148.00 for a 200 watt system that comes with DVD, CD-R playing capability and has radio in some units.
