I am both..... I am a christian and I therfore understand the tue meaning of Christmas..... I get a liitle bit mifed when I am in a busy year or tight of money year and can't do all the things and it seams that people think that means I am not in the spirit.... The Spirit had NOTHING TO DO with decorations and going into debt but that seems to be expected!!!. I love to sing and I love the melodious nature of most carols but i was SSSSOOO mad whent the radio stations stated to play Christmas music non stop on the evening of halloween.

So. I am a Scrooge when it comes to the traditions of the day but I am not a scroge if you ask me what is in my heart and do I hold Christ at the center

I'm so excited for this Christmas. My dad died last year so Christmas was rubbish, but we're going to make up for it this year! Plus we've moved into a new house so it'll be our first Christmas there - I can't wait to get the decorations up, and eat dinner at our new table!!!!

I'm no Scrooge! My gifts are cheap, but that's because I'm poor. I try to be thoughtful and imaginative in my selections.

I stayed home from work these past three days because of a head cold. I got to see local Christmas tree lightings on all three major networks: the Lincoln Center tree on WABC-TV, the Bryant Park tree on WCBS, and the Rockefeller Center tree on WNBC. (Oh yeah--I'm a New Yorker!) I also saw the Shrek Christmas special, which was very good.

Christmas. Bring it on!

I use to be living at home before I was married but now I love Christmas. My husband has showed me it could be wonderful and FUN. I love spending the time with family and friends, especially the little ones.

Merry Christmas!

Yes I'm a Scrooge what of it?..oh no I am going to be visited by three ghosts to show me the error of my ways. I bloody hate Christmas..is it really necessary for all that fuss for one day? it doesn't even feel like Christmas, this year has flown by and the years seem to get quicker and quicker every shop/store/ shopping mall/centre full of people, bugger all on the telly..apart from films which have been repeated millions of times before, the Queens bloody speech to the nation and the commonwealth, three hour specials of all the soaps, decorations going up to early theses should only go up last thing Christmas eve and come down first thing Boxing day, every other advert on the telly is is about Christmas..children's toys, supermarkets, department stores etc. its enough to make you sick bloody good doers trying to get you to part with your hard earned cash for some charity I findit hard to support myself , too many relatives visiting..need i go on?

and when you go over a certain age,you seem to get the same presents year after year. like shower gel and deodorant/after shave sets(are you trying to tell me i smell?)socks and boxer shorts..(i have enough of these to start up my own socks and boxer shorts department store)jumpers/sweat shirts,I mean would you buy a jumper with a picture of a reindeer for a 34 year old bloke?

the only thing that's good about Christmas for me is I get a two week Holiday and I can eat and drink myself stupid, amd fall asleep infront of a Bond film.

Yes. I started feeling it after I began my christmas shopping. I love buying presents for other people except when it's difficult. I want to surprise people so it's not always easy for me to ask. I like to pick out thoughtful gifts.
