Due to the fact that Disturbed is unadulterated refuse, Genesis wins a very lopsided affair.

I do really like the Disturbed version but I have to go with the Genesis version because unlike Disturbed they don't feel the need to have the backing vocals say the word "Jar Jar" (as in annoying Star Wars Character Jar Jar Binks) in the third verse!! Give it a listen and you will hear and never be able to listen to that version of it again without thinking about it!

I liked Genesis when they came out with the song and was hoping Disturbed would do justice to the song when they remade it. They did; I absolutely love it and like the person above said, it's hard to remake a cover song better than the original but they did hands down! I'm looking forward to their possible remake of Faith No More's "Midlife Crisis".

haven't heard disturbed's version, but if it's the same song it probably sucks too! In my opinion that song signified the begining of the end for Genesis, and I was a fan. Even saw them in concert once. It was all downhill from there.

Depends on your age usually, and if Disturbed's added grunts bother you. For me I love Phil Collins and Genesis. I just like the updated more "in your face"Disturbed cover.

Sorry Phil.

The orignal Genesis version was clearly better, but I bet that if Brad Gillis of Night Ranger (twenty-one people!) had played the solo, it would have been even better.

Genesis. I usually prefer the original to remakes.

It's not one of my favorites, but the Genesis version is better.
