What is a good guiding question for a research project regarding the social status of individuals?

what aspect of the social status of individuals? Are you comparing upper class to middle class to lower class economically? how they live (quality of life)? or have you not decided any of that yet and are looking for a question so that you can pick how to proceed?

I would be interested in what is the difference of the Perception of what is a quality life (what makes life good) between the different classes. In other words what do they value in life.
