Edwards deputy campaign manager Jonathan Prince said last week that "there's just no reason for Democrats to give Fox a platform to advance the right-wing agenda while pretending they're objective."

Edwards had previously pulled out of a Fox debate planned by the Nevada Democratic Party, which ultimately -- under pressure from liberal groups such as MoveOn.org, and liberal "netroots" internet activists -- dropped Fox News Channel as a sponsor.

What has FOX news got to do with this? It was done on CNN.

Also, you forget the supposed point of these debates...and that is to help Republicans and undecideds decide who to choose for the Primaries...just as it was for the Democrat debates.

Beyond that, the questions had nothing to do with issues that Republicans care about. Rather it was all about stereotypes that Liberals have about Republicans. Also, if they (CNN) had just been up front about what they were doing, it would be one thing. But they portrayed it as being questions chosen by Republicans and undecideds...when that's not what they were.

Edit: The difference between CNN and FOX is that FOX acknowledges their conservative bias and CNN hides their liberal bias. Therefore, expectations are different when you appear on their network. You know what you get with FOX, but with CNN they blindside you because they CLAIM to be impartial. It also points out the difference between the Republican candidates and the Democratic candidates. The Democrats are afraid to appear on FOX. The Republicans, knowing the CNN has a bias, go on it anyway.

Very simply it is the "republican primary". It is when the republicans decide who to nominate as thier canidate. Having democrats chime in with loaded questions to highlight stereotypes they hold about republicans is dishonest at best and patronizing to the thinking public. And CNN owes everyone an appology. Cooper should be suspended for a week. What would Jesus do??? Seriously, Hillary was patronizing the Christians with that jab. It's low. I think less of her for it. And if it was the unsanctioned act of a "few" of her supporters then I still think less of her cause thats the kind of people she attracts. Cooper either took the bait like an idiot or he chose questions in line with his own bias......which just happen to be from a bunch of liberal activists....

The biggest problem isn't which party askes the questions. It's the fact that a News Organization, CNN blatently lied to their audience. Anderson Cooper said that he and CNN had no idea who Keith Kerr was before they let him have the mic for 5 mins. Mr. Kerr had appeared on CNN 4 years ago, and was flown in from California. A simple google, which apparantly the US's largest News Organization doesn't have the means to do would have settled this. I want my Canidates to have to answer the tough questions from whomever, but I don't want the man alot of people trust for news in this country to lie to my face.

We're trying to educate the Liberals here, about the difference between truth, and a lie, right? We've been trying to do that for 10's of years, Mate, and they continue to be blind to the truth, out of choice. Why would now make a difference?

The askers of the questions to Republicans were "set-up" by Liberal Media. The link below proves it.

Yes, I know. Fox is not fair at all, they might as the Dems a serious question every once in a while instead of diamonds or pearls, Hillary?

Fair like - what's mine is mine and what's yours is mine! The questions started out good, but went downhill rapidly. The ones I wanted to hear from didn't get much of a chance to talk. Rudy and Mitt should have just had a slug fest. But it was all worth it to watch Thompson almost crap when the CFR was mentioned.

That is they way it is. The liberals get questions asking them if they will be liberal enough and the republicans get questions asking why they are not liberal. The gun people on those debates were both set up to make us believe that gun owners are all gun nuts.

Well there you go,you admitted Fox isnt fair. Very good.

I dont know why either. Both parties sound like they are in a mad rush to get ready, as if they are late for a party or something.

I didnt see the debate.Probably didnt miss much anyway.

Isn't it obvious, captain? Who would ask such foolish questions about lead paint in Chinese toys?

Where in the first hour especially were there questions on Iraq?

I didn't see any serious questions at all, just foolishness. It's a wonder they even stayed for these stupid questions.

That's partly what we were upset about.
