or do I have to take it into the dealer? The doors freeze shut in the cold weather. The door will engage to open, then gets stuck so the system shuts down, last time it cost me 90.00 for them to reset the system on the other side, I know now to lube the weather stripping but is there any way to manualy go in and reset it?

Here's Honda's procedure for resetting the power door that you can do yourself.

If a power sliding door won’t open with the
transmitter or the dash Open switch, and closes
electronically only when you press and hold the dash
Close switch, do this to initialize the system:
1. Turn off the ignition switch and the sliding door
main switch.
2. Manually open the door all the way.
3. Turn on the ignition switch and the sliding door
main switch.
4. Press and hold the dash Close switch until the
door closes.
5. The affected door should now open and close
normally.

You should also clean the contacts on the door switches. these are the big blocks on the door posts and the mating contacts on the sliding door. You can use isopropryl alcohol on a Q-tip to clean them. Sometimes they get dirty and that causes the doors not to open.

You can lubricate the door weatherstrips with a fine coating of silicone spray or white lithium grease that you can buy in spray cans at your local auto parts store for about $3.00 Be sure you clean off the door side surface that seals against the weatherstrip when the door closes. That side usually has a lot of gunk and pollen on it and that causes the door to stick.

hope that helps

the doors freeze shut? can you open them by hand? some times i seen where the middle roller goes bad and it jams. you are right about lubing the doors. aslo send down the the connectors that meet the door to the body. just sand it clean in till you see copper color. good luck.
