When you listen to this song, do you feel like you're tripping even if you're not? It makes me feel very trippy, even if I'm stone-cold sober. A bowl does, however, increase this feeling.

I love the song but as I've never done drugs I can't really answer the question. Maybe you're taking the line "Because the wind is high it blows my mind" a little too literally!

On the Beatles Anthology 3, they do "Because" acapella. That has big silent pauses that, if anything, add to the spaciousness of the sound. Makes me think how it would sound as a choral effort. Give it a listen sometime

It is a very trippy songs. One of my favourite songs and off of my favourite Beatles album.

All of Abbey Road makes me feel like I am in the music. Because makes me feel like I am wathcing the sky being blue, the world being round and makeing me cry....never high.
