Yet, When Liberals look at the same man they see a victim?

Hillary's example would be to raise taxes to help miserable poor people. A Conservative would help them to find a job.

Conservatives believe in FREEDOM!
Liberals believe in TYRANNICAL Political power to TAKE from those that produce to give it away to those who DON'T produce. To supply ALL your needs but at the cost of your freedom. Incompetence rains!
Tyrants don't want YOU to have any power.
Money is POWER.
Taxes take away your money and put it in the hands of the TYRANTS.
Anyone who promises to raise your taxes is a TYRANT.
NEVER vote for a tyrant.

I'll just go with this rough understanding of the differences and just say this.

In my mind a Conservative looks at a man and sees potential but can only see that it is self-made and is incapable of admitting or at least acknowledging that he had help from everyone in society to get there.

A liberal looks at a man and also sees potential and feels its best for society to foster that potential so society can reap the rewards of that potential. They then in turn, find it abominable when that person doesn't give credit for his help along the way.

They are not as far apart as it seems, its a game played by the powers that be. There isn't a soul on this earth who looks at a man and sees a victim every time nor potential every time.

A conservative wouldn't help him find a job, do you try to help strangers find jobs? No. And neither do liberals.

What a conservative feels, or at least politically, is that if you create jobs (which requires incenting the wealthy to do so) through tax cuts, you're helpin a jobless person.

Liberals feel if the govt gives them a safety-net of sorts, he wont need help finding a job, he'll get one. But he may need help in the mean time.

Just my .02 and as you can see, I am neither a liberal or a conservative. I dont need a label to or a group to make me feel more secure about my beliefs.

Liberals have long been known for having an, "I'm the victim" mentality...everything is always everyone else's fault
GOLFER- minimum wage is not intended for someone to live off of. If you want a 5 bedroom house you have to work harder. This country needs minimum wage employees just like it needs a middle class and wealthy people(who pay all the taxes). Thats how capitalism works. I guess when you were 16 you made $20.00 hr? If you raise minumum wage to $15.00 hr you will be first to blame Bush because a Mcdonalds hamburger costs ten dollars. Minumum wagers are not VICTIMS of anything.

The Dems are so stuck in their helping the poor, that they view everyone as disadvantaged and it has become their mindset, just the same way police always think we have been drinking when they pull us over at night. Tell yourself a lie long enough and you will start to believe it.
Cons. believe everyone is in control of their own destiny. Imagine what "The American Dream" would have been like if the Libs had been such a force in the late 1800's? All the poor immigrants to America would have been stuck in a rut because they would have been placed in handout programs, and not had the incentive or the necessity to work hard and succeed. There would be the real tragedy of this mindset of everyone is a victim.

Liberals know they have a weak, often-times compromised, platform. So, like HighSchool Politics, they throw candy to the crowd to be elected Class President. On this national stage, for them its call government handouts. Its a sick relationship, because once they are in office, the people who put them in are dependant upon them staying in. So each party of this abusive relationship panders to one another. Meanwhile, the Republicans are villianized in the Media for maintaining a strong work ethic and encouraging people to work...which working people are forced to do in greater volume; since there is more money being taking out in taxes to accommodate the lazy and complacent that feel they deserve not to work.
--------------
I love it though, when Liberals start spouting off economic events that they just learned about in school as though they are some how in-tuned with the world around them. Outsourcing has been going on since Carter...catch up with me here Libs. The layoffs in the Financial sector has nothing to do with Republicans just because Bush was in office at the time; because the Housing Market woes we are experiencing now have their roots dating to 1998.

It's not that simple. If it were that simple:

-the minimum wage would pay enough to live on BECAUSE ADULTS DO have to live on the minimum wage or near to it, and some support children as well. If you don't believe this, all you need to do is leave your middle class suburb and take a trip to the inner city neighborhoods or rural factory towns.
-conservatives would fund more social programs providing job training
-a decent education would be provided for every child by funding schools serving poor students as well as schools that serve middle class and wealthy students

edit: for your additional comments, a 17.5% unemployment figure wasn't bad for the great depression... at it's highest, that figure was at 25%. I don't think going from 25% to 17% unemployment shows a failure of a job program.

simply, conservatives believe in hope, where as liberals are to busy being unhappy, trying to change everything. It's just that simple. Values of faith, and the teachings of Jesus Christ are the foundation of this great country, young as it is. Liberals need a cause, a reason to reject, protest, dissent... all the while handing out a band aid.

Give a man a fish he'll expect more, teach him to fish he will not be back.

Example:

The hen finds some grain and thinks it would be a good idea to plant it. She goes to the Horse, Cow & Pig and says hey would you like to help me plant this grain and they say no. So The little Red Hen being a hard charger goes out toils all day and plants the grain. Now the Cow takes note of all the hens work and starts to think how good that grain would taste and confers in secret with the horse and pig and it is agreed at that time they’d tax the Little Red Hen sometime in the Future. Then the Little Red Hen decided to ask if the Horse, Cow & Pig and says “hey would you like to help me water the grain” and they said HELL NO! So the Red Hen had started having second thoughts about asking them for help again and spent month’s watering the grain until it came to seed. Now the Horse, Cow & Pig were already thinking about getting there 90% share of the net farm yield since they were bigger than the Little Red Hen and needed more food to Eat. So then the hen hesitantly asked the Horse, Cow & Pig and says “hey would you like to help me harvest the Grain” and they pretended to show interest but said no, so the little red hen went to harvest and almost died using large farming equipment to get the Grain. Now at this point the Little Red Hen Decided there was no point to ask the Horse, Cow & Pig for anything. So she turned the grain into flour and then pies , pizzas, bread and various pastry’s she was preparing to feed her chicks when the Horse, Cow & Pig burst into the hen house and claimed all the food for they were Hungry at that time they realized there is no meat so they killed the little red hen and grilled her and eat her eggs and pastry’s.

Who is conversivative in this story and who is liberal?

Want proof? Going on state supported disability takes two tries to get start and a lifetime of unsuccessful attempts to stop. In Michigan, if you are on disability, and trying to get off of it, and start a job because you can now work, it is a federal offense.
That is messed up. I say if someone wants to stop disability support, LET THEM!
