Wilbur Wood was by far the best left handed knuckle ball pitcher. He was 24-20 in 1973 and 20-19 in 1974 throwing 736 innings combined in those two years. I don't think he was as good as Nuxhall but he was hard to hit on his good days. He had such an easy delivery he said he could pitch every day if he had to

The one who comes immediately to mind is Wilbur Wood. He was a lefty knuckler, and hung around for a long time.

Wade Boggs though which is on James' list threw right handed. Just for your information. oh nevermind. He's listed as being righ handed. My bad
