Do you leave your telly or radio on for background noise while you busy around doing things?

I always have the t.v on, I prefere to have background noise.

No. I do not have the TV on very often. I do occasionally listen to talk radio or sometimes listen to recorded music. Often when my wife is out all you can hear in my house is my mantle clock tick or chime and the sound of me turning the pages of some novel or other.

Radio
The "telly" has mothing on there but crap, and my radio's always on in the background because, well, they play music, unlike those other so-called-music stations (MTV, VHS, Much, etc.). but yeah. i rarely watch TV since its all crap. Radio is whats always on.

My TV is ALWAYS on when I'm doin stuff!!
I think it's just something to subconsciously "entertain us" while we're busy!!
