What does copyright protect?
Copyright, is a form of intellectual property law, protects original works of authorship including literary, dramatic, musical, and artistic works, such as poetry, novels, movies, songs, computer software, and architecture. Copyright does not protect facts, ideas, systems, or methods of operation, although it may protect the way these things are expressed.

If it is copyrighted you can not legally use it without written permission from the copyrighter. However, if you use it and do not sell it, give it away or in any way pass it on to someone use (it hangs in your in house "gallery") then you could get away with it. Of course, now that you have come on line and not researched it your self--lots of people know about it. Using a copyrighted product can get you sued and you would be liable for damages and fees to the owner of the copyright.
