the (in)famous "Final Solution" of old Adolph, over 6 million people died, not in battle, not in bombings, but as a part of a vast annihilation program conceived to wipe the Jewish from earth, as the "first step" in order to eliminate all races but white, there are a lot of books and movies, some accurate some not about what happen back then.

IMO you should see, Schindler's List, Holocaust, Anna Frank's Diary, The Pianist and so on .......... but pay attention to this ....... those are movies! fictions, fantasy! you cannot see a Holocaust movie and feeling hopeful about mankind, its not about redemption or vindication.

the holocaust its about the biggest mass murder in all history, its about the total and complete dehumanization of a person, both the killers and the victims, all just base on pure fanaticism, ignorance and brutal intolerance, it is the lowest on all human history.

Jews were condemned just for being different and trust me they couldn't kill them fast enough, they first confined them on ghettos, later they moved them to concentration camps, and there they were killed by hundreds at a time, they came up with some solutions for this, as the "gas chambers" that they build just unplugging the pipes of larges military showers and plug them into huge poison gas cans; that way they can kill one hundred to two hundred people at a time; the crematory fires (formerly industrial furnace) were working 24 hours a day 7 days a week in order to incinerate all the dead bodies and they cannot keep it up with the killing rate, stories say that at some point they just threw the Jews into the fire while they were still alive, just to speed up the process, others say that Nazis line up a group of Jews and fire a rifle at the first one, the same bullet killed 5 to 6 persons that way, they were doing it to save ammo

and I won't even mention the crazy experiments Nazi scientists conducted on what they see as "expendable and cheap human lab rats" ........... are you getting the picture yet?

they main question is ...... have we learned something from our mistakes?? or history is bound to be repeated??

The holocaust killed nearly 6 million jews, but it wasnt only jews who were sent to concentration camps, pollitical prisoners of all nationalities were sent there as well..many germans risked their lives to safe house jews during the war..also even though it was terrible what hitler and his nazis did to these people, many many scientific finds were made while doing human eperimentation in these concentration camps..a man called Dr. Death i think it was liked to experiment on twins..and also eyes..crazy disturbing stuff..but many medical breakthroughs were made during this time.

There are a lot of good websites out there that have the figures and statistics of what happened, as well as personal stories about survivors of the holocaust.

Try some of these links:
http://www.holocaustsurvivors.org/

http://www.historyplace.com/worldwar2/holocaust/timeline.html

And about Anne Frank:

Hope that helps

Not only were Jewish people killed, but homosexuals, gypsies and people who were mentally or physically challenged. Anyone considered a reject in German society. Hitler wanted perfection with no one to flaw his invented gene pool.
