I leave my house to go somewhere and take one route, but I have the urge to take a different route home. Even if I am not thinking about it I will come home a different way. My husband gets aggravated b/c I am wasting time or gas just to satisfy this weird urge....and I am not OCD, just with this driving situation...Does anyone do the same thing?

Most people have an OCD tendency here and there.. even though we aren't fully OCD.. it's normal.. this is just YOUR thing and nothing to worry about assuming you CAN take your normal route... (even if it would bother you a little).. you just don't want to.

As long as it doesn't spread to other areas of your life... then no big deal.. have fun and enjoy the scenery.

I would if I had the car. You really enjoy driving. There is nothing wrong with that. And if you have the money to do it go ahead. You also like to explore and find new things. Maybe you need to take a vacation somewhere.

You seem to be a very curious person who just enjoys finding new routes to get home---even when you don't think about it. Sounds quite normal in my opinion.
