I feel like I have become nothing but a paycheck, babysitter, and roomate to her.

Let me see their are a number of roles a husband plays here's a list.
1. To a faithful and honest husband
2. To be caring and respectful
3. Supportive and reassuring
4. Romantic and compassionate
5. Good lover and companion
6. Devoted and commited to there wife and family.
7.Understanding and patient
8. To be the financial money maker and supporter of the home.
9. To show affection and to answer when called upon.
10. To help around the house and do chores, like washing dishes, vacuuming, dusting, watering plants, taking care of the kids and the pets, mowing the lawn, painting when needed, cleaning the toilet, laundry, running errands.
Really the role of the husband is not any different then the role of the wife the only difference is us men cannot have children, breast feed, or have problems with menstrual cycles and other crap. We as a husband though are required to help as much as we can so the wife is not stressed or overworked from having to do everything while we sit around and do squat.

The protector, provider, friend and lover. An ear to hear, shoulder to cry on, someone who will laugh at our silly jokes/moments, someone to offer suggestions, point out something that's not quite right, assist in the cleaning, the cooking, the grocery shopping, take us out at least once a week, tell us you love us or how beautiful we are, help us in areas we maybe weak in, and...just be there just because.

In our household my husband is the one with the job, he's the fix it guy, my best friend, my lover. I know that no matter what comes up he will stand beside me and defend me even if he doesn't agree with me.
