The main benefit is that as an adult, you can sign and make contracts. You can vote. Contracts come in all forms and types. It includes buying and selling things, performing or buying services, making estate documents, etc.
You cannot go to clubs because they serve alcohol in clubs and you can't drink until 21.

well there is a whole lot of things that you can do when you turn 18 like :You can vote
-You can buy adult material
-You can buy ciggarettes
-You can open a checking account
-You can see a R movie (but u can do this at 17)
-You can get an adult liscense(out past 11)
-You can get a tattoo/piercing without permission
-enlist in the military
- file a lawsuite in your own name.
