If I can't get in to my local NCT classes but can get into one about a 10/15 minute drive away - is it still worth doing?

It is definitely worth doing! There is no NCT class in my area so my baby's dad gives me a lift and I wouldn't miss them for the world. They are relaxed, informative, small groups and you make many new friends. It is a thoroughly worthwhile and empowering experience that I am glad I took the opportunity to participate in. Plus you get after birth support in areas like breastfeeding, get-togethers etc.

10 - 15 minutes drive is nothing! Sometimes it can take me 2 hours to get home from work on the bus!

Yes, it's a good learning experience, though don't feel bad if you can't attend every class.

It's fun to take a friend or your spouse with you. You might get some neat reading material and maybe even some free samples and coupons as well.

yes it is!
10/15 min drive is`nt that far away & if its your 1st baby then you`ll find it a great experience, learn loads plus you`ll get to meet/get to know other mums at the same stage as you!
good luck!

Absolutely!!! Especially if this is your first child.
They go over so much with expectant parents like breastfeeding, bathing and topping/tailing baby and labour so you know what to expect. I recommend them all the time!

Good luck!
