A lion cannot destroy a colony of bees. It can kill some of the bees, but only some, and the queen is protected.
On the other hand, it is unlikely that bees would kill a lion. The lion has a lot of fur, which protects much of the skin; and as for the rest, it would run away if the stings got too bad.

Neither. The lion couldn't catch a bee to kill it but the bees would kill themselves by stinging.
