I'm doing an essay about the Computer Misuse Act 1990 as amended and the Fraud Act 2006. Any help will be much appreciated

It simply means that there was an amendment, or change, to the original law as it was written. It's an update.

It means just what it sounds like - Congress revisited the Act and amended it in some way. Maybe they increased a penalty, or added new language to address some sort of technology that didn't exist in 1990.

If an Act is superseded by a new Act, it's not amended, it's repealed.

It means the original act is superceded "amended" by another more recent peice of legislation.
