How do you hang lights around doors and windows. Do you use suction cups? Also how do you get a clean line of lights around all windows. Some people have their house perfectly outlined where there is no cross over of lights in places they shouldn't be. They perfectly outline every window and door without it looking sloppy.

Really Staples.......I don't know if I like that idea. Sounds like it will leave marks. My window frames aren't wood they are metal.

If you are hanging the lights from the inside, you can use suction hooks for windows. If you are hanging the lights outside and there is brick; you can use "brick clips" which can be found at Lowes & other Hardware stores. Both are use for temporally use & can be used for years.

tWell buy some hooks the kind you screw in or tacks. You push the tacks in first then there is a easy way to hook the light in you don't wanna bore a whole in your lights it can cause a short in them. Your gonna use a lot of tacks if you want it to look neat and you need a ladder. Shop at the 99 cents store for hooks and tacks. And they'll be easy to take down when Christmas is over or check You Tube they'll have a clip on it all so. Happy Holidays

Generally, using staples outside is the easiest and most clean cut look. If you staple about every foot, more or less, it should come out looking clean. But, if you only staple like three times for the entire house, I can guarantee the lights will be hanging everywhere! As for inside, thumbtacks are the easiest. Once again, place the thumbtacks about every foot or so, or if its a smaller area, every couple of inches.

You use a staple gun to hang them up in a straight line around the window or dood. My dad does that, and he has perfect lights every year. However, I don't know how he takes them down...

start of at the left side of the window and tape or pin the wire to the window frme but dnt put the pin through the wire of the light work your way round the window remembering to tape it and if there is any left tape it to the wall.

get ladders and put the lights along the gutter or above the window make sure someone stands at the bottom to hold them and incase you fall

You will probably need to get a stapling gun and staple them up there. It might be a hassle to get them down but they usually look really nice when you do this.

You can use staples or you can go in the Christams section of wal--mart or wherever you get your lights and they have little plastic clips you can put up...and then you can reuse them every year...
